Two Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were injured after their car struck a tree in Pembroke Park Monday.
The crash happened around 12:10 p.m. in the 3700 block of Southwest 52nd Avenue.
Both deputies were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials said the deputies were attempting to stop a stolen vehicle when they struck the tree. They weren't involved in a pursuit at the time of the crash.
The stolen vehicle was found but whoever was inside fled the scene, officials said. A perimeter was set up to search for them.
