Two southwest Florida men appeared in court on charges of shooting and killing a 5-year-old boy.
The News-Press of Fort Myers reports Thomas Dan Edison and Terrance Irons were charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm in public and using a firearm during a felony. They appeared Tuesday in a Fort Myers courtroom, where bond was set at $1.2 million each.
Andrew Faust suffered a gunshot wound on Oct. 13 and died later at the hospital.
Fort Myers Police Chief said Tuesday that the boy was not the intended target in the shooting.
