A young child was hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday after falling at a school in Homestead, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the child, who is under 10, fell on the grounds of Colonial Christian School at 17105 Southwest 296th Street.
The child was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.
The child's exact age and the circumstances surrounding the fall were unknown. No other details were immediately known.
