Dalia Dippolito's Case to be on Oxygen Show

Snapped, on the Oxygen network, will show her murder-for-hire plot

The case of Dalia Dippolito, convicted in May of trying to hire a hit man to murder her then-husband, will be on a TV show Sunday, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Snapped, on the Oxygen network, will show her murder-for-hire plot along with other murder cases involving women, the Sentinel reported. It will air at 9 p.m.

Dippolito was sentenced to 20 years in prison but is currently on house arrest as she appeals her case.

Her husband officially divorced her in October, according to the newspaper.

The Boynton Beach newlywed wife was accused of reaching out to a hit man -- who turned out to be an undercover cop -- to kill her husband in an effort to gain control of the couple's home in 2009.

After an elaborate sting caught on tape in which Dippolito teared-up after she was told by police her husband was dead, cops told her he was still alive and she was arrested.

The couple had been married for just six months, but the hitman hire was allegedly the third attempt the femme fatale had made on her husband. She had previously tried spiking his tea with antifreeze and tried to get two strangers to kill him, according to police.
