A woman was killed in a serious crash on I-95 Thursday morning, Florida Highway Patrol confirms.
The crash occurred at I-95 Northbound at Ives Dairy Road just after 4 a.m. and involved four vehicles. Officials have not released the identity of the victim. The three other drivers are reported to have suffered minor injuries. It is not immediately clear how many people were injured in the crash.
All northbound lanes are shut down as crews respond to the scene. All traffic is being forced off at Miami Gardens Drive.
FHP is investigating the crash, but says speed appears to have been a factor.
Motorists are advised to use Biscayne Boulevard, US 441 or the Florida Turnpike as alternates.
