Homestead’s beloved Knaus Berry Farm -- known for its wide selection of strawberry milk shakes and sticky buns -- is set to open on Oct. 31.
The farm closes during the summer months and re-opens during the fall. Knaus Berry Farm has been in operation since 1956 and has become a major attraction to anyone who enjoys fresh strawberries, fruit pies, smoothies and cinnamon rolls.
Yelp reviews of the farm are rife with compliments and rave reviews of the establishment's freshly baked goods.
“Trust me, if you never had fresh out the oven sticky buns from Knaus Berry Farms then you have not lived,” one review reads.
The farm posted an announcement about their re-opening, “Lord willing,” on Instagram.
Knaus Berry Farm is located on 15980 SW 248 St. and is open from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The farm store is cash only, the website says.
