    Man Killed by Stray Bullet at Kendall Party

    Police are investigating after a man who was attending a party at a home in Kendall over the weekend was killed by a stray bullet as he sat in the backyard.

    The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 7000 block of Southwest 159th Place, Miami-Dade Police officials said.

    Investigators said the man, identified as 40-year-old Yemil Arguelles, was sitting when party guests saw him holding his chest. Fire rescue responded and determined he had been shot.

    Arguelles was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center where he later died.
