Police have identified a man shot dead in his running car in Miami Gardens Tuesday night.
Octavio Avila Jr., 41, was found by police around 9 p.m. in his car at the intersection of Northwest 40th Ave. and 170th St.
Police said Avila's car had been involved in an accident, but they don't know if that had anything to do with the shooting.
