President Barack Obama Congratulates Miami Heat on NBA Finals Win

The president called Head Coach Erik Spoelstra Friday to congratulate the team.

Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra got a call Friday from one of the team's most high profile fans.

President Barack Obama called Spoelstra to congratulate the team on its second consecutive NBA championship.

Obama praised the team's determination and commended LeBron James' for being named NBA Finals MVP.

He even invited the team to the White House once again, saying he looked forward to congratulating them in person.

The team was at the White House in January where Obama congratulated them for their 2012 Finals win.
