Three Men Arrested for Trying to Steal From Atlantis Paradise Island: Cops

Three men were arrested at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas Sunday after authorities said they tried to steal money from the establishment.

The unidentified men, ages 24, 30 and 31, are in police custody following the midday incident, Royal Bahamas Police said.

The men allegedly entered the cashiers’ cage, sprayed a noxious substance and then attempted to steal money, according to initial reports. The suspects were then arrested and the area was locked down.

Police conducting an investigation also found a bag of cash in the ceiling, which they believe belongs to Atlantis.
