The sun will be out and shining in South Florida this weekend, and the streets will be bustling with fun events. Here's a look at some happenings that you may want to check out:

"FanFest" at Marlins Park

Hang out with the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park this Saturday for “FanFest.” Fans can enjoy live music, food trucks, interactive games, giveaways, and more. Guests will be able to meet the squad, who will be dressed in their new #OurColores gear, while getting a first look at the new features in the enhanced ballpark – all for free. "Game of Thrones" Weekend

Winter is coming! Well, at least to the Florida Renaissance Festival this weekend at Quiet Waters Park in Pompano Beach. The “Game of Thrones”-themed weekend takes guests beyond the Gates of the Kingdom with royalty and adventure, dragons and wolves, and mystic forces. Guest will be able to experience an authentic GOT adventure live and in-person, while being suspended between myth and history. Click here for more details.

Have you ever wanted to attend an event where you talked with other rum aficionados about how some of the best rums of the world are made? Oh, and of course, sample some of the most premium rums in the world. Well, here’s your chance. This weekend, the Miami Rum Congress is offering educational sessions, seminars, spirit tastings, and much more at the Shane Centre in North Miami Beach. Art Show + Farmer’s Market

The first annual Village of Biscayne Park Art Show and Urban Oasis Farmer’s Market is this Saturday. The art show kicks off at 2 p.m. and the Farmer’s Market opens at 3 p.m. Local artists from all over South Florida will be showcasing their work during the event. Guests will be able to shop and browse through hand sewn products, free trade tunics, jewelry, wood and leather items. Fort Lauderdale Beach Cleanup

The beach is always a great idea for the weekend. This Saturday, volunteers will hit Fort Lauderdale beach with buckets to help collect litter discarded on South Florida’s sandy, white beaches. Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Sweep begins at 7 a.m. and goes until 11:00 a.m. The organization says “just a small amount of time can make a huge environmental difference. Click here for more information.
