Florida Highway Patrol confirmed Friday that as of 5:30 a.m., all lanes were blocked northbound on Interstate-95 between Hillsborough Boulevard and Palmetto Park Road.
At 9 a.m., the roadway had opened up, with traffic moving slowly despite some left lanes still being closed.
Sources confirmed a tractor trailer was involved in an accident.
Turnpike Military Trail or Powerline Road are good alternatives.
