A young child was airlifted to the hospital after reportedly suffering severe burns at a southwest Miami-Dade home Friday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that crews responded to the home in the 11900 block of Southwest 271st Street and a pediatric patient was airlifted to a local hospital.
The child's age and condition were unknown.
