Cold Front Arrives in South Florida, Bringing Lowest Temperatures to Area Since April

It may just be for one day, but South Florida is digging those jackets and sweaters out of the closet as a cold front makes its way through the area.

That front brought massive rain and storms  Wednesday. After that, the skies cleared and the sun made an appearance, as temperatures were expected to be the lowest in over six months.

Thursday morning, temperatures were as low as 56 degrees in parts of Broward County – again, the lowest since April for South Florida. Thursday’s high is expected to be 78 degrees.

While temperatures get back into the 80’s by Friday, another cold front on its way to the area over the weekend and expected to bring plenty of rain this weekend and more cool temperatures – including a forecasted low of 57 degrees when you wake up Monday morning.
