An 18-year-old from Coral Springs has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery on a teen girl.
William Mendoza is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old girl, according to Coral Springs Police.
The victim told police the incident happened on Dec. 13 behind the dumpster of an apartment complex on Coral Springs Drive.
She said Mendoza began to kiss her and forced her to perform oral sex, even though she told him to stop several times. She said Mendoza then forcefully sodomized her, according to the arrest report.
Police said Mendoza was arrested at his home in Coral Springs on Thursday. They said he waived his rights and confessed to the actions.
Mendoza was being held on $20,000 bond. It's unknown whether he has an attorney.
