The FBI is searching for man suspected of robbing two Broward County banks in the same day.
According to investigators, the first robbery took place Friday at a Fort Lauderdale PNC bank branch, located at 999 E Commerical Blvd, at around 4:45 p.m. Nearly an hour later, the man is believed to have robbed a second PNC bank branch located at 4560 Lyons Road in Coconut Creek.
During both robberies, the robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee, authorities say. There were no injuries.
Investigators believe the robber may be the same suspect who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank located in Margate on Oct. 4.
