The driver of a stolen vehicle intentionally hit a police cruiser amid a chase before crashing on Interstate 95 on Tuesday, the Pembroke Pines Police Department said.
Police were chasing a vehicle on Pembroke Road and Arcadia Drive.
"The driver of the stolen vehicle intentionally hit a pursuing police cruiser and the chase continued onto I-95. The driver lost control of the car, veered into a fence, and rolled over," police said in a statement.
Fire rescue personnel responded to the crash scene at I-95's exit ramp to Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
Chopper 6 footage shows firefighters extracting a person from the wrecked vehicle.
