Police were able to capture a suspected intruder at a church near Tampa – thanks in part to the gun wielding pastor who held the suspect at the scene.
NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reports that the pastor Brant Adams arrived at the Seminole Heights Baptist Church, located just north of downtown Tampa, after alarms went off around 1 a.m. and noticed several thousands of dollars worth of damage due to broken windows and door frames.
Adams was able to find the suspect still inside the church, holding the person at gunpoint until officers arrived.
Tampa Police have not released information on the suspect involved or what charges they may face.
