Sara Kane was booked into the Monroe County Jail overnight, where the 32-year-old was charged with felony lewd and lascivious behavior.
According to police, Kane – who the family described as a friend - was watching to 12-year-old girl after the victim’s father went to the store. When he returned, the girl said that Kane had attempted to pull her pants down and asked to perform a sexual act on her.
The victim later told Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies that same thing, a claim Kane denied to investigators.
