A South Florida man has been convicted in the deaths of three people during a gang-related shooting.
A Palm Beach County jury found Jarvis Jackson guilty Friday of three counts of second-degree murder, though he was acquitted of four counts of attempted murder. He faces a mandatory life sentence.
Authorities say Jackson and several other men were wearing masks in 2007 when they went to a Lake Worth home and shot multiple people. The Palm Beach Post reports that Jackson later confessed that he went to confront a suspected gang member who he believed was involved in his brother's death a year earlier.
Killed in the shooting were 23-year-old Edson Marcel, 29-year-old Edrice Fleurme and 32-year-old Monfred Pierre-Louis.
