Authorities are searching for a man who left a gun on the counter at Miami-Dade Police headquarters Friday.
Miami-Dade Police officials said the man brought the gun into the headquarters on Northwest 25th Street and placed it on the counter while speaking Spanish before he left.
Officials said officers were searching the building and surrounding area for the man.
No other information was immediately known.
