According to newly released data from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin's Population Health Institute, Miami-Dade County is the fifth healthiest county in the state of Florida.
Also finishing strong are Palm Beach County at number 10, and Broward County at number 15.
Topping the list is St. John's County in northern Florida, while Union County finishes last of all 67 counties.
The County Health Rankings and Roadmaps report crunches the numbers on factors ranging from medical care to crime, transportation and other factors that affect how long and well people live.
