Miami-Dade is suspending jury trials through January 31, 2021 due to COVID-19, officials said Wednesday.
The temporary suspension was put in place due to the rise in coronavirus cases throughout Florida and Miami-Dade, as well as the upcoming holidays, officials said.
All other court proceedings will continue as scheduled, and jury trials that begin Feb. 1 or later won't be rescheduled.
