Orlando's police chief says the former fiancé of a woman who went missing after appearing on "The People's Court" is the primary focus of the agency's investigation.
Chief Paul Rooney said at a news conference Monday that Dale Smith is the focus of police detectives' probe into the disappearance of 33-year-old Michelle Parker.
Parker was last seen Nov. 17, the day her previously-taped episode with Parker aired. Her abandoned SUV was found the next day.
Parker and her ex-boyfriend appeared on the show to resolve a dispute about a $5,000 engagement ring.
The police chief says Smith had refused to take a polygraph test and that there are no other suspects.
