Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire at a shopping plaza in northwest Miami Dade.
The fire set ablaze a shopping plaza located in the area of 195 Street and NW 57 Avenue around 5 a.m. Saturday.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from the rear of a grocery story and had to cut the doors open to get inside.
“I know they were doing renovations recently,” said Luis Cajeli, hair salon owner. Luis' salon encountered some water and smoke damage.
There were no injuries from the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.
