A missing child alert has been canceled after a 10-year-old Tampa-area girl was reported missing earlier this week.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Emma Mischaud was last seen near the West Palm Cove Apartments, located in the area of 4000 47th Street in Bradenton, which is roughly 45 miles south of Tampa.
Police said she may be in the company of 46-year-old Suzanne Knight. The relationship between Mischaud and Knight was not immediately clear.
The two were thought to be traveling in a 2016 red Toyota RAV4 with Connecticut tags AD23238.
FDLE canceled the missing child alert Thursday night. No further details were immediately available.
