Authorities are searching for two women who they say stole another woman's car after she left it running outside a North Lauderdale gas station.
Broward Sheriff's Office officials said 29-year-old La Shawna German left her car running when she went into a Mobil at 7100 Kimberly Boulevard the morning of May 27.
As she was entering the store, the two thieves were leaving. German heard the sound of her car door closing and got to the front of the store in time to see the thieves driving away in her 2005 Nissan Altima.
German had left her cell phone and wallet inside, which included her driver's license and credit card, officials said.
Authorities said one suspect was wearing a white tank top with jeans and had blonde micro braids. The other suspect was wearing a flower-print blouse and jeans and had black hair in a straight cropped cut.
A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with info is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
