Video Shows Police Arresting Alleged Drug Dealer in Coconut Grove

Crystal clear surveillance video captured an alleged drug dealer being busted by police in Coconut Grove.

Guns drawn Miami police officers quickly approach a Blue Hyundai and the alleged drug dealer, 38-year-old Ilitch Brown Munoz, puts his hands up in the video obtained by NBC 6 Thursday.

The arrest report for Muñoz shows seconds before he walked over to his car, he accepted $100 cash for one clear bag with several suspected pieces of hard cocaine. Muñoz and two other men were also caught on camera as they were placed in handcuffs Tuesday.

The affidavit also states "Uber driver" as Muñoz's occupation. The car-sharing service confirmed he was one of their drivers, however, they have deactivated him from their platform.

"The individual was not using the Uber app when this happened and he won’t be able to use it in the future," the company said in a statement.

Police say after searching the car outside the Coconut Grove Kwik Stop parking lot, they found two more bags of suspected cocaine, a handgun, and 81 pulls of anavar steroids.

Munoz was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, as well as possession of a handgun, and taken to Miami-Dade County Jail. Munoz appeared in court Wednesday and later bonded out of jail. It's unknown if he's hired an attorney.
