Army Drill Sergeant Charged With Sexually Assaulting a Dozen Women

An Army drill sergeant has been charged with sexually assaulting 12 female soldiers and threatening to have some kicked out of the Army if they didn't comply, NBC News reported. A two-day pre-trial hearing was held this week to determine if Staff Sgt. Angel Sanchez, who has been transferred to a desk job, will be court-martialed for the alleged assaults, a base spokeswoman said. Sanchez's lawyer said he has "serious concerns about the credibility of the witnesses making these accusations," according to the Associated Press.
