A kidnapped 5-year-old girl was killed on Saturday in a shootout between her abductor and police officers, which followed a high-speed chase through Kansas and Missouri, NBC station KSHB of Kansas City reported. Police said they're not sure whose bullets killed the girl and that they're still investigating. The suspect was wounded in the gunfire and is in serious condition.
