Libyans Bury 9 Reportedly Slain In NATO Strike

Nine men were buried in a Tripoli cemetery Saturday after they were killed in a NATO airstrike, according to several hundred angry mourners who fired guns and threatened revenge. The government had announced the time and place of the burial on state television in an apparent attempt to turn it into a rallying event for supporters of Col. Moammar Khaddafy. NATO has intensified airstrikes lately in an attempt to weaken Khaddafy's crackdown on the rebel uprising. Khaddafy made a brief appearance on Libyan state TV Friday to prove he was still alive after a string of NATO attacks on his Tripoli compound.
