Miami has the Dolphins, the greatest football team, and today and tomorrow, they’ll be adding some new talent to the roster.

The NFL draft kicks off today. And what better way to welcome new members than with a party or two.

The Miami Dolphins will be hosting two 2009 Draft Day festivities today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Come and cheer along the Fins as they make their selection, get autographs from team members and alumni and see the cheerleaders shake their pom-poms. You’ll also be able to select your seat for the upcoming season, when you’ll see the new guys they pick today in action.

Hosted by the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, the Draft Day soirees will take place at Dolphin Stadium (enter through Gate 1 A or Gate 7) and City Place in West Palm Beach.

Oh, and it’s free. Go ahead and take advantage of that gratis parking while you can. Come football season you’ll wish you were so lucky.
