High pressure in the Western Atlantic is causing the winds to shift from the southeast to the south, bumping up our humidity slightly and causing daytime temperatures to rise.
By Friday, temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 80s, reminding us that South Florida’s spring season is just around the corner.
For the weekend, a cold front will approach on Saturday with a slight shower chance. The front will bring back seasonable temperatures for the remainder of the weekend. The front is expected to stall out just south of Florida, keeping a slight shower chance in the forecast not just for the weekend but into early next week.
