It's shaping up to be quite the sporty week.
On the heels of the very emotional and inspiring ESPYs Wednesday night came the second annual Kids' Choice Sports Awards, hosted by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
While ESPN's ceremony may have had you reaching for the tissues, the Nickelodeon show was a fun and carefree telecast, which included games, A-list athletes and, of course, slime.
The show, which honors top players based on youth vote, kicked off with Nick Cannon padded head to toe with a Nickelodeon blimp attached to the top of his helmet.
Why the pads? Because none other than Mo'Ne Davis had six chances to throw a baseball to crack that blimp. The Little League pitching superstar got it on the second try.
Stephen Curry may have been the big winner, but it was his 2-year-old daughter Riley who stole the show yet again with her reaction to hearing her father's name being called.
The adorable tot also accompanied Curry on stage when he was named Male Athlete of the Year, and the crowd wished Riley a happy early birthday.
Carmelo Anthony attempted to break the record for most high-fives, but unfortunately didn't make the cut (maybe next time, Melo!), and a security guard got down on the Dance Cam which made us all wonder why there isn't an award for Sickest Dance Moves, because he totally would have won.
Speaking of busting a move...Wilson also showed off his dance skills when he was joined on stage by girlfriend, recording artist Ciara, and whipped and nae nae’d to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”
Derek Jeter's little nephew, Jalen, also stole hearts when he helped honor his uncle with the Legend Award, which was followed by showering the former New York Yankees player with gold slime. Hey, the gold really brought out his eyes.
