Stephen Colbert is partnering with Showtime in a one-night only special to provide his own unique perspective on Election Night as the presidential results roll in.

The unique partnership between CBS’ late-night host and Showtime will be called "Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This Shi*t?"

Showtime and CBS are sister networks.

The special was announced Monday by David Nevins, president and CEO of Showtime Networks Inc. The network said in a statement, "By bringing his unique comedic perspective to the anything-goes nature of premium cable, Colbert will be able to do things he's never been able to do in this campaign, such as directly quote a candidate without being bleeped."

The special will air Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m.
