Dionne Warwick to Perform at Fontainebleau Miami Beach to Raise Funds for Hurricane Sandy Recovery

Warwick was expected to bring "surprise guests" to perform with her

Dionne Warwick will perform at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach for a benefit concert to raise money for the Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

She will perform on Dec. 15 in a cabaret-style concert with "surprise guests," the hotel said in an email statement Wednesday.

There will also be a live auction, with one of the items up for bid being a dinner for 20 by Fontainebleau's chef Scott Conant.

“With our Miami roots, Fontainebleau Miami Beach recognizes the impact hurricanes have on local communities. In partnership with the Soffer Family and Dionne Warwick, we will support the United Way in their recovery efforts to assist the families in the areas devastated by the storm,” said the hotel president Philip Goldfarb.

Tickets to the event are available by purchasing a hotel stay package starting at $599 or buisnesses can sponsor a table at the concert.

The United Way Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund will get 100 percent of the proceeds generated by the concert.
