A South Florida dentist has way to get rid of all the leftover candy from Halloween: He's buying it back.

Dennis Amores of Amores Dental Care said he will pay $1 for every pound of candy on Tuesday and Wednesday. All donations will be packaged and shipped oversees through Operation Gratidue, an organization that specializes in sending care packages to troops.

Last year, some troops replied to the letters and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to share the candy with the local kids.

Amores, served in the Unites States  Air Force, collected 375 pounds of candy last year, and he expects to exceed that amount this year. Amores will also be sending toothbrushes and floss with the care packages.
