Chief Warrant Officer Michael S. Duskin killed in small arms fire

A soldier from Orange Park was killed by small arms fire during combat in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said.

Chief Warrant Officer Michael S. Duskin, 42, died Oct. 23 in Chak District, Wardak Province while he was on dismounted patrol.

Duskin had been assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group in Fort Bragg, N.C.
