A cold front is set to sweep through South Florida later Thursday morning, clearing skies and knocking back temperatures for the weekend.

Cooler air will spill across the state Thursday afternoon with mostly sunny conditions returning after the lunch hour. Highs will reach 77 before dropping into the upper 40s and lower 50s Thursday night.
The holiday weekend will be mostly sunny and cooler with low humidity. Highs will stay in the mid 70s.
