After a cooler start across the area Thursday morning, a nice warm-up is underway for the afternoon hours in South Florida.

Highs should reach into the mid-80s with partly sunny skies and no wind problems.

A weak front will roll into South Florida on Friday, bringing a few showers and an increase in the breeze, likely to carry into the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be partly sunny and breezy with isolated showers.

Expect an elevated risk of rip currents to return this weekend along with choppy conditions for boaters.
