Weather Forecast: Showers and Storms Remain in South Florida Wednesday

A soggy, unsettled pattern continues Wednesday in South Florida with numerous showers and storms in the forecast.

The wet weather led the National Weather Service to issue a flood advisory in Broward County until 10 a.m.

This pattern won’t break for another day or two. Sunshine, in limited fashion, will work its way back into the forecast by the weekend.


Expect mostly cloudy conditions and highs around 86 Wednesday. Thursday will be partly sunny with scattered storms and highs around 88.

Humberto was still drifting in the Central Atlantic Wednesday, posing no threat to land. An area of disturbed weather is meandering near the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, poised to become a tropical depression in the next day or so. The next named storm will be "Jerry."
