"Wow, you've done your research" is code for "You're creeping me out"

Uri Man made a pass without a hockey stick in his hands. It didn't go well.

Brainy Panthers Exec Uri Man has a financial calculator where his head should be -- and, apparently, a penis on his sleeve.

Only one of those things served him well on a recent live TV appearance.

He shoots! And does not score.

The Vice President of Real Estate Development (yes, it's still a sports franchise) appeared on Fox News with anchor Ainsley Earhardt over the weekend to talk about getting jobs in this economy.  As he smugly leered at Earhardt and dropped a little, uh, research he'd conducted on her, it was clear he was angling for a job of another kind.

"Is he hitting on me on live TV? Did that just happen?" a horrified Earhardt asked as the segment came to a close.

You know it, girl, but if you wouldn't look so foxy on TV a guy wouldn't have to attempt a power play of the heart.  But judging from Man's previous televsion romp, Earhardt probably won't be calling: on Bravo's "Billionaire Matchmaker," host Patti Stanger concluded from dancing with Man that he'd probably not be so hot off the ice -- if you know what we mean.

Janie Campbell is stitching "If you wouldn't say it to Walter Cronkite, don't say it to a lady anchor" on a pillow. Her work has appeared in irreverent sports sites around the Internet.
