Just Married, Wife Busted For Domestic Violence

Woman bites husband twice during wedding night fight, cops said

A wedding celebration quickly turned into a nuptial nightmare for a Broward County couple who had just said their vows to honor and cherish each other.

Bernadette Besario Catan-Keeler, 30, was arrested and accused of attacking her husband just hours after she said "I do" to Mike Keeler, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

The couple got into a fight Saturday night at a night club as they celebrated their new marital bliss, which lasted all of about 13 hours, Lighthouse Point police said.

The argument started when Keeler got upset that his new wife was getting too frisky on the dance floor with another man at the club, the police report stated.

Keeler left the club, but his wife soon followed and allegedly bit him on his left shoulder.

She later bit him on his right arm, the report stated. That's when he called 911 and instead of the honeymoon suite, Catan-Keeler was in a Broward jail cell. Police claim the woman was drunk.

Catan-Keeler was ordered held on $4,500 bond Monday, but her hubby was in court asking the judge for leniency. It's unclear if the woman had an attorney.

The judge also ordered she have no contact with her new life partner, which kind of throws a wrench in those honeymoon plans.
