No. 1 – Weather wise, the cooler weather from the weekend sticks around through the morning hours Monday with spotty showers ending by the afternoon across South Florida. Keep your NBC 6 app handy for First Alert Doppler 6000 and push alerts on any severe weather.

No. 2 - An early morning crash along a busy Miami-Dade roadway reportedly sent at least one officer to the hospital and caused major traffic headaches for drivers.

Crews arrived at the scene along with westbound lanes of the Dolphin Expressway before Northwest 87th Avenue in Doral just after 4:30 a.m. with early reports saying both a Miami-Dade Police officer and Florida Highway Patrol trooper were involved in the crash with a total of three victims being involved.

No. 3 - A City Inspector for Dania Beach is scheduled to look at the apartment building responsible for evacuating nearly 200 residents after a second leak from the same rooftop swimming pool in a little over month.

Commissioner Bill Harris says the inspector will be at the Place at Dania Beach first thing tomorrow morning. 30 apartment were affected by the leak, and the cause has yet to be found, according to Broward Fire officials.

No. 4 - The Miami Dolphins suddenly put together a winning combination as Ryan Fitzpatrick scrambled for an 11-yard touchdown run Sunday, the Dolphins converted three Colts turnovers into 13 points and the defense preserved a 16-12 victory at Indianapolis with a red-zone stop in the final minute.

Now the Dolphins (2-7) have consecutive victories for the first time since December, the third time in two seasons and their first road win since September 2018.

No. 5 – The wet weather this weekend in South Florida turned deadly as authorities say a woman was killed when a branch fell on her as she took a walk.

Boca Raton police said the woman, who was in her 20s, was killed just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at a condo complex. The high winds were part of a cold front that came through overnight, bringing rain and wind to much of Palm Beach County.

No. 6 – It’s Veterans Day across America – and plenty of cities in South Florida will honor those who have fought to protect our country and still continue to serve.
