Police are searching for armed robbers who broke into a Check Cashing Store in Dania Beach.
Two men broke into the store through the roof of the store, located at 112 S. Federal Highway in Dania Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. One female employee was inside at the time.
"It was a terrifying experience for this young lady," said Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter.
The employee did not have access to the store's safe. Deputies said the suspects pushed the employee to the ground and stole the victim's purse. They then fled through the back door.
