It was an early Christmas present for some motorcycle riders who had their stolen bikes returned by the Broward Sheriff's Office Thursday.
"It's a dream come true, I feel like I, I'm dreaming right now, I just, nobody ever gets their bike back in this situation," said James Heuiar.
Heuiar's $13,000 motorcycle was one of eight discovered by BSO detectives. The bikes were stolen right in front of the victims' yards.
Deputies traced the stolen bikes to 24-year-old Sebastian Blucher of Miramar. The stolen bikes totaled more than $100,000, police said.
Blucher had been out on bond for stealing another motorcycle in October and had been living with his mother, police said. The stolen bikes were found in his mother's backyard, police said.
When detectives showed up at the home, Blucher wasn't there but they spoke to him on the phone. He told them to take his mom to jail since the bikes were found on her property, police said.
