A cat was found bloodied with a sharp object lodged through its head and neck Wednesday morning on Miami Beach.
The injured feline was spotted on the 800 block of Collins Court around 8:50 a.m., Miami Beach police said. The animal cowered under a dumpster with an arrow or dart impaled in its head.
The cat was rushed to a local veterinarian where it was unfortunately euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. It's unclear if the cat was a stray.
Miami Beach detectives are looking for the person or people behind the animal cruelty. Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
