Firefighters rescued a lucky gray kitten from a Pembroke Park storm drain Tuesday.

The kitten was stuck in the storm drain at Southwest 18th Street and 40th Avenue.

Someone walking by heard the kitten meowing and flagged down Engine 27 of the Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue, according to The Miami Herald.

The kitten is believed to be 2 to 8-weeks-old, The Herald reported.
