Heavy rains caused some flooding on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade and had a flood advisory in effect in parts of Broward Wednesday.
The flooding was reported in the southbound express lanes of I-95 near Northwest 62nd Street and had the left lane blocked.
The National Weather Service issued the flood advisory for northeastern Broward until 5:30 p.m.
Locations that could experience flooding include Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach and Sunrise.
Between 1-3 inches of rainfall had fallen with more possible throughout the afternoon, NWS officials said.
The National Weather Service was also reporting possible funnel clouds with a heavy line of showers in southeast Miami-Dade Wednesday afternoon.

The showers were extending from Homestead to six miles west of Ocean Reef and moving northeast at 30 mph.
