Man Accused of Beating, Kidnapping Pregnant Girlfriend

A South Florida man is facing charges after police say he beat and kidnapped his pregnant girlfriend then forced her to have sex with him.

Jorge Michel Pizano, 31, was arrested July 20 on charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant victim, attempted sexual battery and armed kidnapping, according to a Miami-Dade Police arrest report.

Pizano remained behind bars without bond Wednesday, jail records showed. It's unknown if he's hired an attorney.

According to the arrest report, Pizano and the victim, who is six weeks pregnant, live together and have a 2-year-old child in common. On July 11, they were in a car when they got into an argument over the woman having sex with another man, the report said.

The woman told police Pizano drove to an unknown location where he bound her hands and covered her mouth with packing tape then punched her in the face with a closed fist until she passed out, the report said.

Pizano drove back to their home where he forced the woman to stay in a room for several days, the report said. On July 19, he forced her to have sex multiple times against her will, according to the report.

At one point, Pizano punched his girlfriend in the stomach and said "I want you to lose this child," the report said.
